has been good and bad...
well note the post below says i cant wear thong sandals to work...
well.
today i had to. as yesterday, 7 minutes or so before the end of my shift retreiving wrapping paper out of the basement for my dep-manager... i had a shelf... a really really heavy shelf, fall on my foot. specifically my toe. i shall put up a pic tomorrow. it is slightly wrong. its really going thru all the colors of the rainbow...
i didnt scream or cry or anything. tho it F-ing hurt. im sorry but it really really did. i got the paper, got to the lift, found Claire in crime. and told her what happened. sat on the half moon seats in kids and showed First-aider Claire my toe. it had gone black. and i cried. it bloody hurt. Claire thought i had broken it. filled out a form (in replacement of our missing accident book) and hobbled out the store. to topshop. bought some shoes. ironically. didnt try the left foot on. obvs. got to my car. mum and dad came to get me. the end. hurts less today. unless i move it, put pressure on it etc.
today. funny.
my boss, Deano the Murderer [he came with this nickname, worryingly] was at the top of the steps in out store, i was higher up at the cash desk. i waved a spazzy kids wave as he was circling the store and had paused. he pulled a funny face, at this point Olivia, our collegue, turned round to see his face, said "you're special" in her cute little voice and the guv replied "i know, thats what me mother allus says"
well, it amused me anyway.
On Sunday just gone, Kirsten [waves to K] and i went to the Zoo. K drove. i documented the the outing in Pictures, which i will add soon. theyre not even on my computer yet.
it was swelteringly hot. and has been all week, its been gorgeous. did i tan? did i F**k. so yeah, its been in the middling 20's since the weekend, im loving it :D
right im off to bed now. im sleepy, new rotas have started so im not working till 1pm tomorrow, but i have my hair in the morning, so night night! xxx
