okay, have to do a post for JF, really i do, his books are fantastic.
they run around a central character, Thursday Next in a parrallel universe to ours, and are set in... Swindon... YOU HAVE TO READ THEM you do, i mean it. especially if you like/love books
so far i've read (in this series)
'The Eyre Affair', 'Lost In A Good Book', 'The Well Of Lost Plots' and im a 1/4 of the way thru 'Something Rotten'. I have 'The Big Over Easy', 'The Fourth Bear', 'First Among Sequals' and 'Shades Of Grey' to get thru. and i really cant wait!
[Big Over Easy and Fourth Bear are in the Nursery Crimes series, and Shades Of Grey is something else entirely!]

I discovered Jasper Fforde's books last year and he is now one of my favorite authors. Something Rotten is my favorite so far, and I've actually been putting off reading the next book in the series because I'm worried it won't be as good. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
